NATSIHWA is now known as NAATSIHWP

To better support and accurately represent our workforce, NATSIHWA (National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Association) has recently undergone a name change to incorporate the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Practitioners into our organisation name.

Our members voted amongst a shortlist of suggested names with the result being passed at our Annual General Meeting on the 15 October 2020. On the 22 October 2020, we were formally notified by the Australian Securities and Investment Corporation (ASIC) on acceptance of our name change to be now known as NAATSIHWP (National Association of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Practitioners).

Please bear with us as we transition to our new name, we look forward to continuing in our purpose as National Association of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Practitioners.
